Anything can happen....
The moment the new guy walks into the room, Kate senses something strange and intense about him. Something supernatural. Her instincts are proven correct a few minutes later when, bullied by his classmates, Jarrod unknowingly conjures up a freak thunderstorm inside their classroom.
Jarrod doesn't believe in the paranormal. When Kate tries to convince him that he has extraordinary powers that need to be harnessed, he only puts up with her "hocus pocus" notions because he finds her captivating. However, the dangerous, uncontrolled strengthening of his gift finally convinces Jarrod that he must take Kate's theories seriously. Together, they embark on a remarkable journey—one which will unravel the mystery that has haunted Jarrod's family for generations and pit the teens against immense forces in a battle to undo the past and reshape the future.
I think this book was cute. I liked Jarrod and Kate together, i think they are really cute. Anyway I did enjoy this book, very interesting. I like the twist, though its an easy read I really liked the plot. I liked the ending. it was cool and i think my heart stopped beating just for a second there lol. Jarrod is a cute clumsy guy whose family from generation to generations have been suffering from a curse, and also has a supernatural power that he is so oblivious to it, and there goes Kate, she has a power of sensing a person's feelings by getting in to their head.Together they will figure out the cause of Jarrod's family curse and stop it before he loses his beloved family or will he?. Together they will travel to a place they could only imagine...
Fun read, Old magic, time travel, sacrifices and true love, Marianne did a good job. Cheers x
