Blog Tour: Bridger by Megan Curd + GIVEAWAY!{CLOSED}

Publication Date: June 4th 2011
Publisher: Soul Fire Press
Series: Bridger #1

Ashlyn McVean doesn't believe in fairy tales. That is, until Ashlyn is thrown into the crosshairs of grudges her grandmother created long ago. After finding out she is one of two people able to cross between faerie realms, Ashlyn is faced with trying to understand her abilities, along with navigating a new relationship with her boyfriend, Liam. As if being on a centuries old hit list and dealing with crazed pixies isn't enough, her new abilities mean trouble for Liam. Knowing her new life puts everyone she loves in danger, Ashlyn must decide what's most important in her life between friends, family, love, and ultimately, realms.

This is the first installment of Bridger series and I really did enjoy this book! There’s a lot of faerie thing going on here.  The story was set in Ireland, yes Ireland and Irish folklore and Irish guys with accents mind you lol.

The storyline was really interesting, humorous and creative.  The characters were awesome, Ash-our heroine- was a kick-ass. Though she frustrate me in a way, why she couldn't pick Reese instead of Liam? tsk tsk, teenagers!(shakes head) and Memaw-Ash's Grandma- was an amazing character as well, she can transform from an old lady to a beautiful woman which was pretty much wicked.

The twists of the plot was intriguing. Ash eventually accept that she isn't just a normal girl she thought she was and will find a way to save her family from being torn apart by Ankou-an ancient enemy of Memaw.  Okay I know I'm not making sense at all. Just go and read it! If you liked Glimmerglass (Faeriewalker series) then you will definitely love this. No date for the second book yet but I'm sure there is going to be more asskicking scenes and romance.
