"Keep me close so you can hurt me."
I really enjoyed this book. Geez! Gabriel was freaking hot! Well, actually, not only Gabriel, but also his brothers. So Ive read the prequel (0.5) of this book and it was pretty much the continuation of the family feud, rivalry and great elemental powers. The plot was pretty interesting with the new twist and hints, intriguing mysteries, fast-paced actions, great settings and distinct characters. The best thing that I enjoyed in this book was the intriguing mystery and ofcourse, the romance. Danger is lurking, spread through-out the story so expect a heart-stopping moments.

The story was told in third-person's, and I loved how you could read not only Chris's thoughts but Becca as well. But while I loved Emily in Elemental 0.5, I didn't quite get connected with Becca here, don't know why probably the attitude. She is kind of judgmental with her bestfriend which is such a turnoff for me (coz it did happen to me) but other than that she is a very strong lead character, after all she'd been through, in the end she eventually stood up for herself.. Oooh lets go to the boys, ahhh. Chris is such a very intriguing character, I really really liked him alright but I need him sometimes to man up. Michael, ahh he is the big brother of Chris and the twins, and I loved him, I thought he was such a great character in 0.5 even if he wasn't really the main characters here in this book, he still played a big part in the story. Its just so sad that Michael and Emily's tandem didn't make it to Storm.  Hunter was odd but radiating with sexiness as well. And Gabriel! He is oozing with so much cockiness and hotness that it was so hard to keep my face straight, I just had to grin when its his line. I love him too. You'll have a hard time on choosing who is who to root for Becca. But a part of me is a bit glad Gabriel isn't Becca's love interest. And I cant wait to meet his girl omg!!!

Overall, I did enjoy this book and I thought its a great setup for a fantastic series. Paranormal romance lovers will truly enjoy this book, I have the feeling that the 2nd book, we will be introduced to a different characters point of view and I cant wait for the second book to come out!

  5. Yes!! One of my favourite parts of this book was how Brigid wrote the book half in Becca's perspective and half in Chris's (give or take) because dual POVs are always awesome and it just made everything all the more sweet! LOL and I feel like everybody is favouriting Gabriel in this book so I can't even imagine how crazy everyone will be fangirling in Spark! x)

    Amazing(ly hot, on Gabriel's terms) review, Lalaine! :) <3
